How to request account deletion
This page explains how users of the Clidash application can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.
If you no longer wish to use Clidash, you can request that your account and associated personal data be permanently deleted by following either of the options below.
Option 1
Delete your account inside the app
- Open the Clidash mobile or web application
- Navigate to Settings
- Select Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion request
Once confirmed, your account will be scheduled for deletion.
Option 2
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access your account, you may request deletion by contacting us at info@clidash.com. Please include:
- The email address associated with your Clidash account
- A request stating that you would like your Clidash account deleted
Our team will process your request and confirm once deletion has been initiated.
What data is deleted
When your Clidash account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Personal identification information (name, ID number if provided)
- Contact information (email address, phone number, address)
- Client and portfolio information stored in the platform
- Meeting recordings and transcripts
- Uploaded documents and attachments
- Task and workflow data
- AI assistant conversations
- Account preferences and settings
This data is removed from active systems and cannot be recovered once deletion is completed.
Data that may be retained
Certain limited information may be retained for legal, security, or regulatory reasons. This may include:
- Audit logs related to account activity
- Billing or transaction records required for financial compliance
- System security logs
These records are retained solely for compliance purposes and are not used for operational or marketing purposes.
Data retention period
After a deletion request:
- Account data is scheduled for deletion immediately
- Data is permanently removed within 30 days
Regulatory exception
Audit logs may be retained for up to 7 years where required by regulatory compliance obligations.
AI data processing after deletion
Once your Clidash account is deleted:
- Any AI conversations linked to your account are deleted
- Uploaded documents and transcripts used by AI systems are removed
- Your data is not used to train AI models
